Stunning and incredible, this spectacular work of art is a sensational creation that you’ll be proud to display in your home year after year! Gorgeously crafted for storing your favorite anointing oils in style, this marvelous masterpiece is beautifully hand painted with a dazzling design of traditional symbols such as the Star of David, Dove of Peace, and a 7-branched menorah within a second Star of David. Inspired by the ancient horn vessels of biblical times (1 Samuel 16:13*), this delightful piece was carefully made to be spill-proof and includes a silicone stopper attached to a well-designed cord handle, making this attractive treasure from the Holy Land a keepsake worth cherishing!

* Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers; and the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon David from that day forward. And Samuel arose and went to Ramah. (1 Samuel 16:13)

Barsheshet-Ribak Shofars produce some of the very best shofars in the world. The union of two great dynasties specializing in the production of high-quality shofars, each of these incredible horns is a testament to the rich history behind them.

The Bar-Sheshet family can trace back their lineage in shofar making to 14th-century Spain during the time of the Jewish expulsion infamously known as the Spanish Inquisition. After settling in Morocco following the expulsion, the Bar-Sheshet family has continued to produce fantastic shofar horns of unparalleled excellence. Eventually immigrating to Israel in 1947, Meir Bar-Sheshet would open a workshop in Haifa where he continued the family tradition of making extraordinary shofars.

Meanwhile, in Poland, a man by the name of Rabbi Yacov Rossman also began creating objects out of animal horn and soon his incredible talent and beautiful shofars became legendary throughout Poland. Immigrating to Israel in 1927 and settling in the then-new city of Tel-Aviv, he continued his craft and taught his cousin, Avraham Ribak, the secrets of his trade. Today, the sons of Avraham Ribak and Meir Bar-Sheshet work together in harmony to produce the finest shofars you’ll ever see. With their uncompromising commitment to excellence, these magnificent horns are sought after by religious communities and collectors worldwide for their immeasurable beauty and unrivaled quality.
