Enrich your celebration of Hanukkah with this stylish sterling silver Menorah from Hazorfim. Boasting a polished finish, this Menorah features an arrangement of candleholders set on a slim shelf that is resting on a curved design attached to the rounded base. The curved design is made to appear as if two question marks are gracefully interlocked within each other. Handcrafted in the Israeli city of Modi'in, the site of the beginning of the Maccabean Revolt, this Menorah is the perfect way to connect your present celebrations with the miracles of the past.
This menorah is suitable for use with prefilled gel oil cups or standard Shabbat-size candles (base diameter approx 1.8cm).
Please note: All Hazorfim items are beautifully wrapped in exclusive gift packaging, and include a certificate of authentication and warranty card.
A Hanukkah blessing pamphlet (24cm x 16.5cm / 9.4" x 6.5") is included with this menorah. It features the prayers recited over the candles, as well as maoz tzur in both Hebrew and English for easy reading.
Hazorfim began with three Jewish-Romanian silversmiths who sought to preserve the dying tradition of handcrafting silver in the face of global industrialization. Separated by World War II, the three artisans escaped Romania and eventually made their way to Israel after the establishment of the State where they were reunited. In the early 1950’s, they decided to continue their dream of producing quality, handmade products out of pure silver and gold and opened up a workshop which they named Hazorfim. Reviving ancient techniques and methods of metalworking, Hazorfim now employs hundreds of artists, each of whom is an expert in their field. Around 300 new and original silver pieces are produced by Hazorfim yearly, with each one having gone through meticulous scrutiny from the ‘dream’ stage, to designing, to the actual constructing of the product by skilled artisans. The exquisite works produced by Hazorfim have been sold all over the world, and have decorated the homes of the famous and powerful such as George Bush, Ronald Reagan, Vladimir Putin and King Hussein of Jordan. Magnificent beyond compare, each item sold by Hazorfim is a unique and flawless treasure of unsurpassed excellence. Don’t hesitate any longer to enjoy a spectacular masterpiece that is guaranteed to become a family heirloom for generations.
