This stunning glass dish pays homage to the long and storied history of the Holy Land. This item is a reproduction of a mosaic floor created during the Roman period, 3rd century C.E. The floor was uncovered during an archaeological dig in Sepphoris, which is located in the Lower Galilee. This dish features the profile of a woman, thoughtfully looking out towards the distance surrounded by beautiful and decorative designs and olive branches. The original mosaic can be seen on display in the Israel Museum located in Jerusalem.
