A thoughtful gift, as a means of remembrance and a gesture of solidarity.
On the morning of October 7, 2023, at 06:29, life in Israel changed irreversibly. In the early hours of that day, the Jewish people faced the greatest disaster since the Holocaust. More than 1,200 men, women, and children were brutally murdered. In 06:29, acclaimed photographer Oren Cohen gathers his images into a single volume dedicated to their memory. The photographs confront the violence of that day while refusing to let it pass into silence. Each image is both a record and a testimony: unflinching in its precision, yet shaped by the artistry and humanity of the photographer. Together they form a visual narrative that bears witness to grief, resilience, and the unbroken will to fight and endure.
Presented as a bilingual edition in Hebrew and English, with a design that allows each image and word to be received in full measure, 06:29 invites remembrance and reflection, and bears testimony to the strength that arises even in the face of loss.
