Born in Haifa in 1939, Baruch Nachshon studied under Shlomo Nerani (Cezanne's sole pupil) in his youth. Combining his masterful artistic skill with his deep religious beliefs, many of Nachshon's works beautifully reflect his faith as well as his visions of the future redemption. Baruch Nachshon currently lives and works in the holy city of Hebron, where he helped re-establish the Jewish community after 1967.
